Partial Outage On UK-1 Region

We experienced a brief, partial outage of the UK-1 region. While we were investigating and preparing public updates, the outage was resolved by our operations team.

WHAT HAPPENED

A gateway in the UK-1 region experienced an internal issue that required a restart. We utilize 3 gateways in the region, and the other two were healthy and serving traffic during this time. However, requests that were attempting to utilize the gateway with issues would have failed.

CUSTOMER IMPACT

Some requests to sites in the UK-1 region would have experienced intermittent outages for approximately 10-15 minutes.

WHAT WAS DONE TO RESOLVE THE INCIDENT

The gateway was restarted to clear the immediate issue, and our engineering team will follow up to find a root cause.
